The Teach Florida team is wrapping up a stellar year in which we continued to advocate successfully for allocations from Tallahassee to protect our kids in Jewish day schools. In 2017, following 17 bomb threats on day schools in Florida, the State of Florida designated $654,000 for day-school security. Two years later, the figure is $2.5 million, and our 2020 goal is $3 million. The letters below can attest to the fact that nobody is more grateful than the kids, who are able to learn in a nurturing and safe environment — thanks to our community, our partners in the state legislature, Governor DeSantis and our talented team.
