Our Teach NYS team is in full-on recruitment mode for this year’s Mission to Albany. On March 17, hundreds of day school and yeshiva students, administrators, teachers and parents from across the region will converge on the state capital to make the case, once again, for equitable government funding of nonpublic schools.
With the current wave of anti-Semitic violence, a top priority for this year will be ensuring that the state legislature maintains its demonstrated commitment to funding for monitoring systems, security barriers, building upgrades, training and guards.
Participants will also advocate for increased funding so nonpublic schools can hire more STEM teachers.
To make your voice heard by meeting with legislators and advocating for the best and safest nonpublic school education, email nymission@teachcoalition.org or visit teachnys.org/albanymission.
