Masters Degree Partnerships for STEM Eligibility: Under $10k + New STEAM Concentration

Is your school one of the nearly 30 member schools that have sent teachers to our exclusive MEd partnerships? If not, you’re missing out on a host of benefits.

As a summary, Teach NYS created customized partnerships with three different institutions – Touro University, SUNY Empire State University, and Gratz College – for our member schools. STEM teachers who enroll in these partnership MEd programs will be eligible for salary reimbursement through NYSED’s MST/STEM program. The degrees, which are discounted up to 51%, can cost as little as $9,600 for the entire degree.

If you’d like additional STEM funding (potentially up to $60k per year, per teacher for full-time teachers), a tangible teacher recruitment benefit, an offering that can help retain current teachers, and an improvement in your quality of STEM education, then these partnerships are for you.

In addition to various available concentrations within the MEd programs, we are excited to announce that Gratz has officially added a STEAM Concentration to their Masters in Education Degree.

The summer application deadline for these programs is fast-approaching, so if you’re a member school and would like to enroll your teachers, please reach out to Adam Katz as soon as possible.
