November with Teach PA

The past few weeks have seen students, parents and community leaders stepping up to advocate for Jewish day schools. We are on our way to making sure our legislators hear our voice, see our schools and meet our families.  The EITC scholarship tax credit program, Teach PA’s foremost priority, received a $10 million increase as budget negotiations wrapped up. This increase will help more low-and-middle income families provide the most fitting education for their children. Teach PA has also launched its Gubernatorial Candidate Series and Get Out the Vote campaign, and has convened the first installment of the series with gubernatorial candidate, Paul Mango, in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. See accompanying photos from some of November’s memorable moments, including State Representative Mary Jo Daley at Kohelet Yeshiva, State Representative Ed Nielson at Politz Hebrew Academy, and Paul Mango meeting community members at the first installment of our Gubernatorial Candidate Series.
