The highly awaited NPSE Year 10 application and updated school allocations have been released by NYSED with a total allocation of $45 million for this year’s grant! We are excited for schools to finally be able to complete their applications for reimbursement for your full allocation amounts.
The new submission deadline will be June 27, 2024. Eligible expenditures must have been paid for by April 30, 2024.
There have been some important changes to the NPSE grant program:
- In addition to prior year reimbursement options, schools can now submit for reimbursement for Year 10 capital expenses and for building repair and maintenance, such as building emergency exits and pathways, plumbing and electrical systems and more.
- The NPSE application is fully on the business portal. Schools must log in to their NYSED Business Portal account and complete and submit their application there. - Schools applying for security guard reimbursement must submit a school calendar.
