The first ever Teach NYS Member School Summit was phenomenal and exceeded all our expectations! It was so gratifying to see dozens of school leaders from members schools across New York State, with diverse school populations from throughout the hashkafic spectrum, gathered together. They learned from each other, enjoyed each other’s company, networked, and learned best practices for a host of government programs. Not only was it a major learning and growth opportunity, but everyone loved the catered food!
So many school leaders approached us after the event to express their thanks and share that, although they weren’t sure what to expect out of this first-ever event, they were so glad they attended. They stated that they were pleasantly surprised with the practical, hands-on tips they learned and hope to implement them immediately. Hearing from your peers – other school leaders – as well as Teach NYS content experts, provided your schools with multiple, fresh, and informative perspectives.
Thank you to our member schools for attending the event, and we are already looking forward to next year’s Summit! Based on your feedback, we plan to make next year’s event even more customized to your schools’ individual needs, while also adding more topics. We’re so pleased that we could facilitate learning in such an enjoyable fashion, and we can’t wait to see you next year!
