Florida’s Jewish schools are growing at a rapid, historic, and accelerating clip. The widespread and now universal
availability of Florida’s school choice scholarships are a major factor, as is a major influx of Jewish families from New
York in the wake of the pandemic.
Florida is now a major center of Jewish education in the United States. In 2022-23, Florida had the fourth largest
Jewish school population in the nation with 13,379 K-12 students – after New York (168,835 students), New Jersey
(63,650 students), and California (14,378 students).
