An innovative STEM education program would grant our schools access to experienced teachers, at no cost to the school. It would give public school teachers an opportunity for additional compensation, doing what they do best: teaching important STEM subjects the next generation of Pennsylvanians.
You help us work all year advancing policy, traveling to Harrisburg, meeting legislators in districts and bringing your elected officials to schools. Now it's June, and we must get in our last word!
The Pennsylvania Legislature must pass a state budget by June 30. And we must make sure our community's voice is expressed as decisions are made, determining how all state programs will be funded.
