Urge The Legislature For Increased Support
The New York State Senate and Assembly have released their respective budgets and final negotiations are happening now.
We are excited to announce that both the Senate and the Assembly have included record funding for our nonpublic schools. Amidst alarmingly high levels of antisemitism, the Senate put in for an additional $20 million in security funding. In addition, respective budgets included increased funding for STEM, Arts & Music, and CAP/MSR, with both budgets including Universal Free Meals program. Now, with negotiations happening as we speak, it’s critical we show our gratitude, and help ensure the maximum funding is included in the final budget.
