Sibling Add-On Provision (Family Empowerment Scholarship)
If you have a child who is awarded a Family Empowerment Scholarship, there is funding for their school-aged siblings who also attend an eligible private school.
(The sibling is eligible for the income-based scholarship for private school tuition, but you do not need to qualify by income rather as a sibling of a disability scholarship recipient).
- This applies to siblings of recipients of an income-based scholarship or unique abilities scholarship.
- The siblings must be school-aged (5 by September 1st) to qualify for the sibling scholarship (private school tuition voucher).
- If your family receives an award for an Income-based scholarship, any sibling who becomes school aged can be added without additional income documentation.
