Security Funding Advocacy
Teach Florida advocates on behalf of our member schools to secure critical security funding.
Florida Jewish Day School Security Program (State of Florida)
- Teach Florida advocates for and assists schools in accessing Florida’s $20 million Jewish Day School Security Program.
- This funding supports:
- Security guards
- Facility hardening
- Secure student transportation
- Our team works with member schools throughout the funding cycle, from application guidance to compliance and reporting requirements
Federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) (Federal FEMA Program)
- Teach Florida assists member schools with the Federal Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) administered through the Florida Division of Emergency Management. Our support includes:
- Advocacy of program requirments
- Deadline reminders
- Program updates
Government Maximization Services
- As part of our Government Maximization Program, Teach Florida helps schools maximize available government resources by providing:
- Timely email alerts on funding opportunities Advocacy with government agencies to address policy issues and improve access to funding
